The Liberal Rules of Tactics

There is a video clip circulating on the internet of the Speaker of the House publicly explaining the tactic of “Truthfication,” and you may have seen it. If not, it is concise and worth a quick listen. Pelosi, in a media interview, explained that manufacturing false information about someone and having the media pick up on the story who then report the lie as a fact, makes it easy for the politicians to come back and say, “Everyone look, it is being reported in the media, it must be true.” This tactic is what the liberals did with Justice Kavanaugh and continuously do with President Trump. The media are in complete support of this tactic because they are, in fact, the Fake News.

I was curious about this tactic and recall reading about tactics in communication to convince people during propaganda campaigns. Sure enough, I found the information in a book that most conservatives have not read and should read. It is necessary to understand your enemy, and reading their manual makes understanding easy. For communist tactics and socialism, the two books that define their tactics is Rules for Radicals, A Pragmatic Primer for Realistic Radicals, by Saul D. Alinsky, (1971) and The Naked Truth; The Naked Communist – Revisited by James C. Bowers, Sc.D. (2011). Also, for those interested, the Koran (Qur’an) for Islam that explains in ugly detail how and why they will dominate the world.

I am not a believer in socialism or communism or, for that matter, Islam. They are all totalitarianism types of government. I include Islam in this definition because I do not recognize the belief as a religion per Se. However is a combination of cult and is political, i.e., the Koran is essential a book of war and domination.

So, not to drift too far off the subject of tactics, I revisited the Alinsky book for clarification. Here is what I found in part and the surprise conclusion I came to after reading it.

I quote from the Alinsky book, “The fourth rule is: Make the enemy live up to their own book of rules. You can kill them with this, for they can no more obey their own rules than a Christian church can live up to Christianity.

“The fourth rules carry within it the fifth rule: Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon. It is almost impossible to counterattack ridicule. Also, it infuriates the opposition, who then reacts to your advantage.

“The sixth rule is: A good tactic is one that your people enjoy. If your people are not having a ball doing it, there is something very wrong with the tactic.

“The seventh rule: A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag. Man can sustain militant interest in any issue for only a limited time, after which it becomes a ritualistic commitment, like going to church on Sunday mornings. New issues and crises are always developing, and one’s reaction becomes, ‘Well, my heart bleeds for those people, and I’m all for the boycott, but after all, there are other important things in life” – there it goes.

“The eighth rule: Keep the pressure on, with different tactics and actions, and utilize all events of the period for your purposes.”

I’ll end it here. If you want to read any more of the tactics, get the book from Amazon. Do you recognize the tactics? The media uses these same tactics and believe they’re successful. However, so does President Trump. The media and his opponents started this tactical war of words, and he is pretty smart and probably read the same playbook. What do you think?

Great overview of Liberal Tactics. I like the synopsis of the 8 Rules and particularly zeroed on on Rule 7 which so many things fall into this scenario…

And I have two daily Rules/Mode of Operation:
    1. Nothing is Simple.
    2. Everyday is a surprise…

Years ago I read Rules for Radicals and consider many Democrat politicians Alinskyites. I became interested in reading this book when Bill Clinton was running for his first term in office. It was then reported Hillary Clinton, while attending college, wrote her senior thesis on Saul Alinsky, and I wanted to educate myself as to who he was.

I agree everyone should take the time to read this book.

Donald Trump, given all the lies, innuendo and crapola thrown at him on a daily basis, has more or less been effective in deflecting the same right back, as well as actually doing his job. In my opinion, there is no such thing as journalism anymore. It’s gone, baby, gone.
