The Week After

Wow, what an election process. I am sure many of you are disappointed with the way this has turned out so far. I say this because the election is not over. I am sure many of you have heard of the alleged fraud, skullduggery, misleading, non-factual comments from the media, and worst of all, the media has decided to call the Presidential race for Biden. Rest assured, the media is not an authority and can not call the race. The only thing they can do is speculate and try to make you think Biden has won. The only one that can call the race is the individual States, and they do so by certifying the ballot count and presenting that Electoral count to the United States Congress. Until that happens, no one has won or lost this race.

During the last several months, as emotions ran high about a favorite candidate, I have had the unpleasant experience of learning several people I thought were friends, were in fact, I will be kind, not friends. They put their political beliefs over friendship. They fooled me as I had respect for them as people and trust. I took friendship literally and expected discussions on disagreements in a productive matter. However, I have been thrown into the briar patch with everyone and anyone that supports Trump. So be it, and I said adios to these make-believe friends. I did not want to part ways, but their words and actions made it happen. Gloating over a win, or should I say a perceived win, is childish, and I would expect more from a mature adult. Maybe some of you have had the same experience.

Now we all wait as legal filings and challenges test our resolve for a fair election process. I will sit back and watch, as it is all I can do for the moment and sip on a fine scotch, think about my true love of my life, my real friends, and reflect on where our country is going if Biden is declared the winner by the courts. That will open a new chapter and a more enhanced resistance to the Democratic Socialist Party. Perhaps, like what was done to Trump before he took office, a suggestion that Biden is impeached for corruption and money laundering because of his family’s racketeering conduct. As much as I want this election event to calm down, realistically, I do not see it happening.

If Biden wins, everyone according to the a reporter and advisor to the Biden team, who works at the Washington Post, has stated, “Sunday on MSNBC’s “AM Joy,” Washington Post columnist Jennifer Rubin called for the shunning and shaming of the supporters of President Donald Trump, which she argued was part of a plan to “burn down” the GOP and start from new.

“It’s not only that Trump has to lose, but that all his enablers have to lose,” she said. “We have to collectively, in essence, burn down the Republican Party. We must level them because if there are survivors — if there are people who weather this storm, they will do it again. They will take this as confirmation that, ‘Hey, it just pays to ride the wave — look at me, I’ve made it through.’ Up and down the ticket — federal, state, and local offices — the country has to repudiate this.”

This deranged reporter speaks like she is living in a communist society and believes these actions are necessary to control the country’s population that support Trump. This is the kind of rhetoric that starts armed conflicts, and the Left is getting bolder about it every day. If you have ever wondered why we have a Second Amendment, this is part of your answer?

What is next?

This has been disappointing, even though we were expecting it. I don’t think we understood how involved the media would be, but it should not be a surprise. My attention was drawn to Arizona’s part in this upset since it is a crucial state this election. Not only did they use the curry or software to transfer votes to Biden, Maricopa County had their own plans by targeting conservatives and forcing them to use sharpies on the ballots so they would most likely be rejected. The county announced Sharpies did not affect the ballots in any way, however, I talked to many upset voters who claimed to have their votes rejected and most of them were due to Sharpie-gate! They would either ask if voters were voting Republican or profile them and actually force them to use a sharpie. If the machine rejected the ballot, they would say it’s OK and put them in a box. These poor people didn’t realize until later, their votes did not get counted. One voter overheard poll workers laughing with each other saying they couldn’t wait until the Republicans find out the sharpies rejected their votes! I will be reporting all this to the Trump legal Team as well as Debbie Lesko. This is about our country’s future!!

Henry, as you and I have spoken, I am deeply concerned, about the possibility of an armed conflict. We are a nation of laws, with each President swearing to uphold our constitution, with that said, President Trump is fighting to uphold our constitutional freedoms. G-d forbid an armed conflict, as I believe it is our global enemies that will become the victors, if Anarchy, is allowed to take greater roots in our Republic.

I pray that the rule of law will prevail, and violence is not resorted to; and if each and everyone who is like minded protests we can say we did our best to change the tide, to save our Republic that so many died to keep it intact.

This whole thing is so unbelievable and I have learned so much that I didn’t know. The thing I find so unbelievable is that these people can do things that are illegal and not have consequences. What is going on? I am sick about the future and what Biden/ Harris have promised. One of my clients said to me when I expressed my fear of open borders, ” I’m sure no one wants that”. Then why do they say it I asked. His response was politicians say all kinds of things they don’t mean………What???? Not President Trump.

My husband and I are both in the service industry. If we don’t go to work we don’t get paid. We can not work from home. How can anyone with a job, a 401K, a small business, who live by the border towns vote for this? Do people not understand how taxing small business works and raising minimum wage? INFLATION!!!!! I can’t even deal with this election.

Great post on the election and the ‘friends’ responses. I learned decades ago that one is blessed if you have a total of ‘real friends’ that can be counted on one hand. I used to think we had tons of friends but realized that only a true friend will help or walk beside you when one is going thru very difficult times. We moved a lot over the last 50 years and we tended to gather 1 or 2 sets of true friends at each location. We are truly blessed to call them life-long friends. They will be available for anything, pray for you and walk along beside you. You know who you are…

I have lost friends, or whom I thought to be friends, since Trump became our President. But, they left me, I did not leave them, nor would I.

I gloated on a Biden win? That’s how you see it after you stated Biden is a liar and Trump will win? Sad. I noticed you didn’t post my previous blog response because apparently it didn’t align with your idea of a response. I thought your blog was open but that’s not the case. Only if posts support your thinking and beliefs. Just remember how many of your “friends” actually step up and recognize and support you with actions other than words. I have but clearly that wasn’t how you classify a friend. Friends need to align politically. Alan.

Alan, First of all the only other message I got from you was one that requested you be removed from the notification list, which I did without comment and promptly. Also, many messages end up in junk mail and I have just erased some twenty spam messages as a result of this blog, which is normal. Maybe it was mixed in there, I simply did not see it. Second, the remark about friends that “gloat” was not directed at you nor did I use a name to identify the person, who happens to live on the East Coast and is not part of this blog. However, if you insist on throwing a fit like a two year old, I can easily subscribe the “gloat” comment to you also, if that would make you feel better, or justify some part of your feelings. As far as Biden goes, he is a liar. He is corrupt, something I strongly believe will come out as time goes along. The race is not over. The race will be over once each State certifies its electors. The media calling the race is like masturbation. It may feel good, but it means nothing since they lack any authority to make such a call. Chill out, have a whiskey or whatever you drink these days and wait for the final shoe to drop. If you have not figured out where Trump is going with his strategy yet, then you need to prepare yourself.

The above is a clear example of how sensitive and combative people have become as a result of the right vs left. What happened to respecting that everyone has a right to their opinion, but not the right to force feed it onto others. This applies to both sides. Why can’t we “calmly” have discussions and agree to disagree without people becoming hostile. Loosing friends over a difference of opinion, is sad. Clearly they were not friends. Let’s go back to being Americans, living in the “United” States. I know, based on all the hatred and BS, it may never happen again. Very sad.

Very well said Esther. Having different opinions is what makes us different and defines us as individuals and respecting the opinions of others leads to good friendships. How boring life would be if we all had the same opinions. I think we are all tired of the ugliness that has overtaken our country and we need to work on repairing the damage that has been done.

I have no desire to live in a “bobble head” society where everyone submits and blindly follows substandard and unethical leaders. I am able to think for myself, make my own decisions based on facts. If you want to be blindly led, with no ability or permission to think for yourself, move to N. Korea, China, Venezuela, to name a few. There you have government think for you. Heck, they may even give you some “free stuff.” If one chooses to remain here in the US, respect the fact that some of us are free thinking and make our own choices.

We certainly do not want to travel down the “Orwellian path where censorship promotes “conversation” and “official” results are delivered by no one other than one party,” regardless of the party, according to Dinesh D’Souza. Free thinking individualism is the corner stone to a healthy Republic. Attacking people that support one candidate over the other instead of reasonable discussion is group think and leads to the Society of 1984. I am critical of Biden for good reason. I am also critical of Trump, not for what he has accomplished, but for his presentation of what he has done. He missed a golden opportunity to present his accomplishments in a better light, even with the media whores. Biden is without a doubt an established “swamp denizen” without a major accomplishment in forty-seven years of public life. He brings only misery to the table for discussion and unrealistic approaches to solving issues in this country, especially since he aligned himself with the hard Left of the new Democrat Party. He is corrupt and his years in Congress only elevated his personal wealth by selling his office to his Chinese Communist friends. I strongly dislike what Biden stands for and his continuous descriptions of his “plans” to cure COVID are a joke since he is only mimicking Trump. He is not authentic in anything he has presented. His claims to give free things to everyone is a sham. Nothing is free. The part of society that wants and gets free stuff is opposed by the part of society that is taxed and has to pay for it. I plan on giving Biden the same amount of respect he and his “bobble head” followers gave to President Trump, if, and that is a big if, he wins. Just because the media declared he won is not a given and has no authority. If the State’s certified his win, then and only then can he lay claim to “President-elect” and not until then. No transition until, or if that happens.
